My CRPS is very up and down, not "on" all the time...I think we get better at management rather than the condition gets better..

That's a difficult question. CRPS resolves or lessens for some people but not for others. I've had bilateral CRPS in my lower limbs for 8 years now and it's definitely not improving. I'm also taking similar medications to you but I'm on 300mg of Lyrica twice daily as well as the tramadol and a few others. Whilst my pain hasn't improved, with the help of a pain specialist and lots of education my ability to deal with it from day to day has improved. For me a big hurdle was accepting that I had CRPS and letting go of the anger and trying to find effective coping strategies that worked for me. It took me a good 5-6 years to accept my situation and get my head around the fact that I was going to be in substantial pain everyday for the rest of my life. Don't get me wrong, I still get angry and some days I deal with better then others but having a good health care team has made a huge difference for me as has counselling. Good luck and best wishes.

LYRICA or PREGABALIN as they are also known are still quite a new drug , they are the vamped up version of GABAPENTIN. I am still on the pregabalin but I have managed to get down to 200 mg a day from 600mg, I really want people to be aware that when you try to come off it the withdrawal symptoms are akin to heroin withdrawal, just wanted to let you all know that before you try them!

Hi. I've never had side effects from lyrica. Tried gabapentin but had to take a very high dose for less relief. I take 150 Lyrica 2x a day.

I tend to agree our mindset is a large part of the process// barometric pressure affects my pain level
