Multilevel Schmorl's Nodes
A MyChronicPainTeam Member asked a question 💭

Has anyone had this show up on their Dorsal Spine MRI result? Could this explain why I have constant spinal pain and weakness? I see that it is a highly debated topic, some doctors believe it cause no pain.

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

@HeatherS--Hello,and YES!! I do have multi scmorel's nodes in my spine!!! And YES,they do cause more pain!!! I also have 5 diffuse disc bulges, and a syst in between one of my crushing vertabrae. My spine is got multi level degenertive disc disease, with other issues I mentioned above, and YES,my back HURTS A LOT!! I can't even lie down, cause I can't stand up,my legs give out on me,and I fall down!!! I can't stand straight up either, and need a cane to walk, even the shortest of distances!! and so on,and so on......!! My spinal issues are due to Severe osteoperosis, due to on and off prednisone use,for over 20 years, for my Vasculitis disease!!! So in short, the drug I took for my vasculitis, caused ALL of what has happend to my spine!!! It was a Hard Pill to swallow, when I first found this out!!! I have dealt with it,and there's Nothing I can do surgically, cause my bones are way too brittle, and it could paralize me if I did surgery(cause I already checked!) I hope your's doesn't cause you so much grief!!! How bad does yours get? Talk to you soon!! HUGS!!--Jwisey
