I had an epidural in my neck in December. I have to use a cane to walk because of numbness in my feet and left leg. I have 2 bulging discs in my neck. I went to Brad Goodman in Trussville AL and he gave me a great multi-facet epidural. I had some major relief that I had not had in a year. I had fallen 3 times in a 6 month time frame with the last one breaking a wrist bone. Also, Dr. Ingram in that office gave me a shot for tendinitis that helped greatly with wrist pain. Those doctors helped me to understand what was going on with me more than any other.

Didn't work for me either. Dr said it could help identify root of the nerves causing the pain then he could do nerve ablation and I'd be pain free for up to 9 months. Told me in follow up visit that it only helps if pain is on the sides of spine, not in the center or sacrum area like i was feeling. referred me to a spine surgeon.

I have had Facet Joint injections at the base of my spine for chronic Arthritis and to help sever pain and numbness in my leg. For me they did not work only making it much worse, they where done in theatre under x-ray not painful, back to the pain clinic waiting list for me.

I had them into my lower back a lot, the amount of relief seemed to correlate with the doctor who did them. Now I have them for a post surgery issue In my neck once a month and get a week of relief out of them.
