I did have this. I was on amytriptaline and gabapentin. They kept wanting to up gabapentin. I weined myself off the gaba and it went away. Also I had to switch to kids toothpaste.

I have sjogrens and have a lot of weird tastes in my mouth and not sure as I have metal, burning etc but have constant ulcers in my mouth and esophagus.

My mouth is extremely dry due to my meds. Also I have Sjorgrens which wrecks havoc on my mouth, tongue and esophagus.

My wife had burning mouth syndrome and never got any relief from doctors, then when couldn't diagnose her, they just started guessing, it was horrible!
