After years if Oesteo and Rheumatoidd pain. I have now been given a diagnosis of Fibromyalgia. I want to stay positive. What’s your best positive advice please?

The only advice would be to take things one day at a time. You'll need to figure out your triggers and then try as much as possible to avoid them (sometimes it's impossible). Don't project too far into the future and don't start worrying about your diagnosis. Remember, stress causes pain flares.

Find a great Rheumatologist! One that listens, is open to new trials, is in the business for more than a few years, and one who UNDERSTANDS!. I currently have one. I love my Dr.

Watch Dr Morse videos on u tube. Type in Dr Morse rheumatoid arthritis etc. He will explain why this is happening and how to turn it around. He will give you your power back. This is reversible!

Madeleineb, great advice, not always easy as you say but stress and anxiety are big culprits !

I have all of that and much more, going on 30 years of severe chronic pain. I was suicidal off and on for years until consistent prayer helped to pull me out of those dark places. Absolutely no family, friend support that believes in me, thank God He does. Prayers.
