Constant pain despite taking pregabalin 400 g over a day...Dr says dosage can be increase to 600 g a day. So far it is easing pain although it's still there. At least it allows me to move about that is for a couple of hours. .

My GP told me where the bone is broken an op isn't guaranteed. Seeing rheumatologist on 14th and probably get more expert advice.

I have 2 crushed vertebrae plus degenerative disc diseaae. I was also born with my bottom 2 vert fused to my tail bone. I'm on pain meds too try and help but still have plenty of pain and now due to CDC they are trying to take me off those. It hurts if I stand, sit, lay down, ride in a car, e.t.c., in other words, I can't get away from it. I asked about surgery but there's basically nothing they can do for the complexity of it all. I really feel for you. It's one thing to have pain but it's another to have a constant, gnawing, irritating pain that makes you physically sick cuz you can't get away from it.

I have had RA for 60 years. I have had both shoulders replaced, a knee, a hip, microdiskectomy L5-S1 plus the neck thing. I have the ageing body think too. Know how you feel.

Thanks Mary. U certainly have been thru the mill with yr poor body probs. Mine r minimal compared to yrs!l no wonder yr pregabelin dosage is so high.
Altho my condition causes great pain u deserve a medal..I do have other conditions but again not comparable with you.
Mine are linked to an ageing body.
X xx
