Does Anyone Know Exactly Where You May Find Someone That Helps Write Legal Letters ?
A MyChronicPainTeam Member asked a question 💭

I need to write a letter in a formal formation to my doctor, and after years of being traumatized by all this, on top of having PTSD , it's as if I'm terrified to speak up for myself anymore.. which is funny, because I can fight like a tiger for others , but not myself.. I can't be the only one like this ..? Anyways , I read this great article on how to stand up for your rights after being abandoned by a long term doctor, and really could use help in writing a letter so I dont shoot myself in… read more

P.S. I'm sorry your doctor is treating you so badly. But like you said, he should have given you notice and or given you help by providing a name of another doctor. I feel upset that he is not seeing you as a patient anymore. That really sucks. Sending much love and gentle hugs!

I was let go because I couldn't afford co pays for all the "alternative" treatments they wanted to do. Injections, TENS unit, therapy....how much $ do they think we have?? I could afford the prescription I had been taking for a year. Was let go...no meds...been 4 years now.

Are you kidding? That's total abandonment! Like lawsuit worthy! Even tho YOU like him??, that's just wrong on TOO many levels! How dare they treat YOU like THAT! Insurance or NOT, you at least deserve respect!
A GOOD LAWYER TOO!
Wish you lot's of LUCK😀

Call Laweyers, print out the responses you have typed here and take them with you. You communicate well with us, and this should lead the lawyer in the right direction to ask pertinent questions. You have a good case against both offices. You have had a stroke because of all this, and they could push you over the edge if this does not get rectified. Send a confidential letter through the lawyer to the doctor stating you are not naming HIM in the suit, but the office for conflicting information regarding your scheduled surgeon’s office and the OFFICE he now works for regarding paperwork that would or would not be done if you did change insurance carriers.

Also check with the insurance carrier and find out if you qualify for a social worker...my Humana plan has them available for their members...they can get things like this taken care of for you through conference calls, where you can be helped and hear what is being said on your behalf.

I too can champion someone else’s cause, but find myself tongue tied when it comes to communicating my own needs.

Blessings

Cheryll
