Hello, asking this for a family member. He has constant back pain as he has a degenrative back condition. .. it was an L4 issue, now other areas are affected. Any options for managing pain...
I'm in severe pain .I take duluxitine.and amytriptyline I take as much as I can.however stronger doses opioids I can't bear taking.as I suffer from anxiety and and they don't agree with my body.

All of you out there have these diagnosis which are really diagnosis of Symptoms not causes. I am working hard to determine Causes and possibly cures. I am hesitantly hopeful Stanford University Med Center will come up with some of those Causes as our Symptoms are usually the same for most although the CAUSES so l varied. I know that they are bad people out there, but we are not one of them, and yet we get treated like we are bad, because we are in pain and what helps us is being decided by people who do not feel what we do

At one point I was on 12 T3’s a day for the lower back pain from the collapsing discs; especially S1-L5. The next step was to go on Opiods (hope I spelled it right) anyway. I decided to go for a breast reduction and pain management instead. Anyone else?

I tried many yrs of alternitives to opioids . After 17 yrs of safe pain treatment with opioids will I have hope before I die to again have opioid painrelief again at age 63?
When you say safe are you meaning you always took as prescribed with no accidental overdoses or other problem accidental instances. If so I don’t see why at 63 you would be denied proper pain relief… read more
