I Have Had A Pain Block Injection In My Ackilies Tendon. Has Anyone Else Had It? This Is My Second Night Without Sleep Thank You All
A MyChronicPainTeam Member asked a question 💭

I have a thickening of my Ackilies tendon. After several things were tried in my right foot I had three "craving" down operations they have up as there was too much scare tissue to do more
Now the left leg has begin to do the same thing. This ;pain block".is the first thing they have tried. I had an anesthetic injection followed immediately by this pain block injection which was put in and moved around for around 5 minutes before being taken out. It was done in an ultrasound suite so the doctor… read more

Radiofrequency Neurotomy
A MyChronicPainTeam Member asked a question 💭

I am on the waitlist for cervical spine Radiofrequency Neurotomy. I had a C4-C5 cervical spine surgery with iliac bone fusion in Sept 2019. It did not resolve the pain, it worsened the pain and further decreased range of motion. I also had a fusion at L4-L5 in 2002, and lumbo-sacral tarlov cysts removed in 2021 (since grew back). I have advanced OA (cervical spine greatly affected), tarlov cysts, and Myofascial Syndrome. For those that had the procedure done, what was your experience and… read more

Has CBD Oil Or Gummies Helped Anyone With Severe Pain? Anything Over The Counter Helped?
A MyChronicPainTeam Member asked a question 💭

I keep seeing on the internet and keep hearing about CBD and how it helps relieve pain, or so they say. I would like to know if anyone has gotten relief from them. Also any other over the counter migraine or vitamin that may have helped someone. I really need to find something that works. Thank you.

Anybody On Here Been Diagnosed With NDPH (new Onset Daily Persistent Headache)?
A MyChronicPainTeam Member asked a question 💭

Web forums and medical articles on this relatively recently defined headache syndrome are filled with stories of headache that was triggered, usually by an infection. Most know the exact date it started, and most just had EBV (mono), or were later diagnosed with Lyme. I have both, but they're not new. There has never been any research on it. There is no proven effective treatment, since the mechanism is unknown.I believe that it is inflammation from an overactive immune response. Occassionally… read more
