Hello, asking this for a family member. He has constant back pain as he has a degenrative back condition. .. it was an L4 issue, now other areas are affected. Any options for managing pain...
I'm in severe pain .I take duluxitine.and amytriptyline I take as much as I can.however stronger doses opioids I can't bear taking.as I suffer from anxiety and and they don't agree with my body.

At one point I was on 12 T3’s a day for the lower back pain from the collapsing discs; especially S1-L5. The next step was to go on Opiods (hope I spelled it right) anyway. I decided to go for a breast reduction and pain management instead. Anyone else?

Does anyone use Naltrexone, what is it prescribed for? does it help?

I know that they are bad people out there, but we are not one of them, and yet we get treated like we are bad, because we are in pain and what helps us is being decided by people who do not feel what we do

I tried many yrs of alternitives to opioids . After 17 yrs of safe pain treatment with opioids will I have hope before I die to again have opioid painrelief again at age 63?
When you say safe are you meaning you always took as prescribed with no accidental overdoses or other problem accidental instances. If so I don’t see why at 63 you would be denied proper pain relief… read more
There doesn't seem to be a thing we can do about it,I've been cut down on the strength of my pain meds so much I'm never out of pain and have no quality of life,my only option is is to cut both my legs off just to get out of pain,it' crazy, I've never failed a drug test, I've always had my pill count and they still keep cutting me down., I see why the suicide rate for seniors is going up,what else are we supposed to do,they want us to die off anyway.

I am collecting information in an attempt to contact those that are making our laws about opioid addiction. I have already contacted some law makers. When the new proposals are announce, I want to be very ready to get active in trying to be sure that those of us in chronic pain are not ignored in the process. Please be very specific if you feel that you have already been affected by new state laws or the national CDC Guidelines for pain managers and their use of opioid. Thanking you all in… read more

@ JenniferServantes that is the dose of Naltrexone i had been on since 1/2017;they put me on it for Fibromayalga so when i still had the same pain i did not think of it
