Hello, asking this for a family member. He has constant back pain as he has a degenrative back condition. .. it was an L4 issue, now other areas are affected. Any options for managing pain...
I'm in severe pain .I take duluxitine.and amytriptyline I take as much as I can.however stronger doses opioids I can't bear taking.as I suffer from anxiety and and they don't agree with my body.

Lately it seems as though there are several people weaning off medications by their own personal choice. I'm not referring to those of you that are being forced to get off of meds. I'd be interested in hearing your results; comments. If you have been force to get off of narcotics and had good results, please share. Jean

I am collecting information in an attempt to contact those that are making our laws about opioid addiction. I have already contacted some law makers. When the new proposals are announce, I want to be very ready to get active in trying to be sure that those of us in chronic pain are not ignored in the process. My pain management doctor doesn't seem to want to listen to me. I am on 30mg extended release morphine twice a day and 4mg instant release dilaudid twice a day. The dilaudid works well just doesn't last long,maybe 3 hours. The morphine doesn't seem to work well. She has had me on a couple extended release meds and they haven't really worked.
