Does Anyone Have Pain, Numbness/tingling In Hands From Cervical Radiculopathy?
A MyChronicPainTeam Member asked a question 💭

...herniated discs in neck/lumbar area. ..left arm, shoulder, sometimes chest very painful, off the scale, pain meds do not help at prescribed doses. Now, my right hand is starting to get tingly. I've been droping things. One neurosurgeon wants to operate, but I don't trust him, due to his own age-shakiness and diff reading MRI. Another neuro guy wants another newer MRI, ok no prob with that, BUT, it can only be done at an office in his building. I question the $ relationship in that. My pain… read more

Carpal Tunnel Syndrome Or Something Else?
A MyChronicPainTeam Member asked a question 💭

The palm of my left hand has been burning when I move my thumb or stretch my hand. I was diagnosed with carpal tunnel syndrome in 2005. I got on disability and just stopped typing so I never pursued treatment. Its really flared up over the recent 2 months while recuperating from knee replacement. I didn't injure or over use my hand so why is it so painful? Has anyone had experience with this?

Arthritic pain is caused by crystals forming in joints. Cider vinegar sweetened with honey and drunk every day will break down the crystals that cause the pain.

Shingles Nerve Pain
A MyChronicPainTeam Member asked a question 💭

I had shingles in September of 2017, it was on my right shoulderblade with a small amount going down my right arm and on my right chest. Now with small fiber neuropathy in my legs, it seems like the pain in my back and down my arm has increased. Not sure if it's connected to carpal tunnel syndrome or shingles nerve damage. Any ideas? I've got an appointment with surgeon for carpal tunnel tomorrow, maybe he'll have some answers.

Tremors/shaking
A MyChronicPainTeam Member asked a question 💭

Does anyone ever get tremors. Or shaking in your hands and body? Im not sure if it might have to do with my cervical kyphosis. Another name for that is called military neck. Its where your neck is straight where its suppose to have C curve. It causes my hand numbness. And makes it hard to use my hands. They get really swollen.

How Do You Deal With Wrist Pain During Exams?
A MyChronicPainTeam Member asked a question 💭

I have my final exams coming up in a few weeks but really struggle with wrist pain when I write for an extended period of time. How do I deal with this when I need to apply for a medical certificate way beforehand in order to be allowed to tape/ brace my wrist ( It took me until now to find out how to apply for it and that it's too late now)

A MyChronicPainTeam Member

Taking Meloxicam For The First Time.
A MyChronicPainTeam Member asked a question 💭

On Friday my Orthopedic Surgeon prescribed Meloxicam (15 mg - once daily). Was wondering anyone's thoughts on the effectiveness of this medicine. I am now taking Indomethacin (and from time to time Naproxen). Was wondering how it compares with those two. And, what's the best way to take it? In the morning? Noon? At night?

Your thoughts?

Thanks and God bless.
