I have been òn Gabapentin for at least 10 years. I have very painful essential tremor. Without it, my legs go into spazime and I go insane. Mind you I also have crushed vertebra as well as very bad arthritis so I take 2-3 morphine a day and oxy at night. A good night sleep is very important and pain used to wake me up 3-4 times a day. Try and find5 a good pain specialist. He has been a wonder for me.
