How do you get your motivation back after a long fight with pain. The feeling of giving up when nothing seems to go right? When those you talk to say they don't wanna hear it anymore? When you have so much that needs done but your body won't cooperate and you feel overwhelmed.

I took my first dose of neurontin last night for nerve pain. I became more dizzy than I have ever been in my life. Falling over and had to hang on to the bed. I was terrified. I have been dizzy often never anything in my life like this and it is still lasting almost 20 hours later, though not as bad. It was the lowest dose made. 100 mg. Us the goverment planning to force chronic pain sufferers to go off their opiates?

I am collecting information in an attempt to contact those that are making our laws about opioid addiction. I have already contacted some law makers. When the new proposals are announce, I want to be very ready to get active in trying to be sure that those of us in chronic pain are not ignored in the process. I know that they are bad people out there, but we are not one of them, and yet we get treated like we are bad, because we are in pain and what helps us is being decided by people who do not feel what we do

Lately it seems as though there are several people weaning off medications by their own personal choice. I'm not referring to those of you that are being forced to get off of meds. I'd be interested in hearing your results; comments. If you have been force to get off of narcotics and had good results, please share. Jean

I have a friend who thinks that I am putting it on, when I say that I am in pain, as she just says, well you look good, are you sure you have pain, this really hurts me inside. Do any of you have friends or family who think that the pain is in your head?
