A MyChronicPainTeam Member asked a question 💭

Hello, I have had 5 previous back surgeries with fusions. I recently got a knee replacement 12/18/17. I am now having terrible back muscle spasms and sciatic nerve pain. I know it takes some getting used to but this is bad, Its hindering my recovery. I had to lie all day Monday because of this. Now coming up the steps it screamed at me. Its makes me yell out so much zinging pain.

A MyChronicPainTeam Member asked a question 💭

I had my knee replaced when I was very young. The surgeon told me it would last 10 years. The first surgery was very difficult on me. It's been 12 years. It hurts. But not to the point I'm in great suffering. Should I get my knee re-replaced b4 i get any older? Or should I just tough it out not undergoing another surgery, post surgery, and rough physical therapy?
