I took my first dose of neurontin last night for nerve pain. I became more dizzy than I have ever been in my life. Falling over and had to hang on to the bed. I was terrified. I have been dizzy often never anything in my life like this and it is still lasting almost 20 hours later, though not as bad. It was the lowest dose made. 100 mg. I moved to Cincinnati from Los Angeles 4 years ago with my Doberman service dog. On 345 mg of morphine. My regular doctor at the University of Cincinnati medical center wrote it to begin but he referred me to their pain management clinic. Primary doctor suggested that I try marijuana instead of more opiates. I need to ask my pain doctor first a I signed a paper saying that I would only get pain meds from him. I have an appointment on January 5th and I want to go with some information about the success of using marijuana. I also need to know what to ask for. I'm really not interested in smoking it as I've never smoked before. Rx Marijuana is legal here in Arizona so that is not an issue.
