I took my first dose of neurontin last night for nerve pain. I became more dizzy than I have ever been in my life. Falling over and had to hang on to the bed. I was terrified. I have been dizzy often never anything in my life like this and it is still lasting almost 20 hours later, though not as bad. It was the lowest dose made. 100 mg. Hi Ive just made the BIG mistake of insisting on going to what we have in Scotland called a Pain Management clinic
On my first visit I was basically made to feel like a fake and in less pain than I actually am . I will not go into that side of it too much .
My question to those with back pain and perhaps trapped sciatic nerves |> Do you or have you used the likes of a Morphine based Drug to help with said Back pain and did it work for you .

The doctors that diagnosed me with Fibromyalgia will only give me Gabapentin...which makes me very sleepy. They say they don't care if Hydrocodone helps or not, they wont prescribe it. I am miserable every day. I get lightening pains through out my body all day. I also have a hard time with my legs. I take one Hydrocodone for the whole day and it works. Recently my pain management doctor put me on Horizant because i was having dizziness and getting off balance. I'm just wondering if Horizant will have the same effect and also does it work better?

I am collecting information in an attempt to contact those that are making our laws about opioid addiction. I have already contacted some law makers. When the new proposals are announce, I want to be very ready to get active in trying to be sure that those of us in chronic pain are not ignored in the process. I started pregabalin and at first i had side effects and dizziness. Its been over a week now and those have settled but i am really struggling. Feeling wuite depressed currently, it has been on and off and I cant figure out if its the meds

Regardless of how cool/cold it is around me I will sweat a ridiculously large amount and my ears get red and actually feel hot. It's like my internal thermostat is out of wack, I can just be sitting for this to start so I was wondering if any one else has dealt with this and if so how do you deal with it
