Weight Gain From Neurontin( Gabapentin )
A MyChronicPainTeam Member asked a question 💭

Have any of you experienced weight gain from neurontin? I have been on it for 1 1/2 years now and as they raised the dose I noticed I started going weight. I now take 800mgs a day. Since April I have gone from 140 lbs to 180. I am not happy at this weight but the drug does help a lot..though I still have the neuropathy all over my body, including my face. I am not eating more. The dr would like to raise it more but I don't want to be obese along with my other problems
I think the fact that I… read more

Does Any Other Member Have Trigeminal Neuralgia?
A MyChronicPainTeam Member asked a question 💭

I was diagnosed in 2006 and had micro vascular surgery in 2009. Unfortunately the surgery was not successful.I suffer daily with chronic pain and can no longer work. It would be nice to speak to connect with someone who has and is dealing with this horrific disease. I am now in my 11th year and it's really starting to hit me now that my life will never be the same as it was. I'm not looking for sympathy or pity just someone who I can relate to. Thank you.

Been living on Tramadol, Gabapentin and maintenance drugs since. Any suggestions on replacment for Tramadol ? In todays climate we all look like "drug seeking persons", WOW that gets old. Any help would be so apprecited. HELP thanks again
