Actually having a good day thanks. How about you?
I have a story, just like all of you. I’m in high-tech consulting. I know the power of information. I want to share but wish there was a more secure means to do so. I’ve done nothing illegal and have nothing to hide, I guess I’m scared to just let it all out, for the entire world to see all of me.
I’m not a writer. I’m a child of a mother who stressed the importance of reading, writing, and arithmetic (Reminds me of Bill Haley!) My mom would come home from her shift at the hospital and crash… read more
Hello again, I just thought I would just in with you and remind you what an eloquent soul you are! I hope you find some of that strength to help others to help yourself. I truly appreciate this… read more
I'm not saying I'm suicidal, but I do wish I could just die rather than live in chronic pain and treatment resistant depression.
Yes dear many times
How do you get your motivation back after a long fight with pain. The feeling of giving up when nothing seems to go right? When those you talk to say they don't wanna hear it anymore? When you have so much that needs done but your body won't cooperate and you feel overwhelmed.
Hello, and sorry your suffering because I suffer so much it is for 2 or 3 people
The pain, I have to take a narcotic, and if they do not work. I go to 911 because I can not control the pain. I have… read more
My pain doc wants me to try a nerve block on my back. I'm willing to try anything at this point. If you've had it done, is it painful? Does it hurt? I have DDD, stenosis, and L-4 and L-5 are herniated. Any feedback is greatly appreciated!
You need to find a specialist who knows how to do it and has a CT or at least an ultrasound available. It can help you to patch up the pain for 1 - 3 months depending on the stage of your herniated… read more
Ive avoided going to the hospital when my pelvic pains flair up, because i know theres nothong they can do for me. Ive taken panadol, ibuprofen, and my prescribed codeine, none of it helps and i usually end up vomiting because of how painful it can get, its imobilising. I know the hospital cant give me anything or help in any way, i usually just get a few tests and am told to go home. And just wait for my ultrasound in 2 weeks from now. Help?
@A MyChronicPainTeam Member what “tools” did they give you in the Er?

Diagnosed with severe Lumbar spinal stenosis. Orthopedic doc recommended laminectomy and fusion. Decided to go to a neurosurgeon for second opinion. He also recommended laminectomy on three vertebrae and fusion on three vertebrae. I won't kid you, I'm scared. Is the surgery going to work, relieve me of pain? How long is the recovery? He says it could be 6-12 months! Anyone had this experience? I've had two knee replacements and two cancer surgeries in the last 18 years. I hate the thought of… read more
How much levels are you having fused? That is important. Two levels are considered multilevel and that should be enough. I was a fool to trust a surgeon to do a five level lumbar fusion plus my… read more
Primary doctor suggested that I try marijuana instead of more opiates. I need to ask my pain doctor first a I signed a paper saying that I would only get pain meds from him. I have an appointment on January 5th and I want to go with some information about the success of using marijuana. I also need to know what to ask for. I'm really not interested in smoking it as I've never smoked before. Rx Marijuana is legal here in Arizona so that is not an issue.
My daughter was in a bad car accident and also has fibromyalgia and she smokes a vape pen with thc. She says it makes it so she can get through a day ... Sort of. She is still unable to work
If anything, send me some thing, that might make me feel just a little bit better. Hugs to All!
