Every time I touch it the burning and the pain in my face increases and spreads to my cheekbone near my nose and it is intense. However I've definitely had worse. Pain usually only starts because of my cheek area, but now it's my forehead too.
Sounds like facial neuralgia. Whether it is trigeminal neuralgia or as in my case occipital neuralgia
Just wondering if anyone has had an Occipital Nerve injection due to have one next month and wondered what to expect?
I get them a few times a year from my ent doc and they hurt a bit but they help so much

I was diagnosed in 2006 and had micro vascular surgery in 2009. Unfortunately the surgery was not successful.I suffer daily with chronic pain and can no longer work. It would be nice to speak to connect with someone who has and is dealing with this horrific disease. I am now in my 11th year and it's really starting to hit me now that my life will never be the same as it was. I'm not looking for sympathy or pity just someone who I can relate to. Thank you.

I was just diagnosed with this TG and told that people suffering from CPS, Diabetes, CFS, and Fibromyalgia have a tendency to get TG. I can't seem to win.

What can we do?? I can't afford to doctor shop, copays are too expensive, especially with my only income being SS. Not to mention I take insulin that costs (Phone number can only be seen by MyChronicPainTeam users) COPAY!! Spondylosis is killing me. My only option is gabapentin and muscle relaxers and Meloxicam. I keep seeing on the internet and keep hearing about CBD and how it helps relieve pain, or so they say. I would like to know if anyone has gotten relief from them. Also any other over the counter migraine or vitamin that may have helped someone. I really need to find something that works. Thank you.
