Shingles Nerve Pain
A MyChronicPainTeam Member asked a question 💭

I had shingles in September of 2017, it was on my right shoulderblade with a small amount going down my right arm and on my right chest. Now with small fiber neuropathy in my legs, it seems like the pain in my back and down my arm has increased. Not sure if it's connected to carpal tunnel syndrome or shingles nerve damage. Any ideas? I've got an appointment with surgeon for carpal tunnel tomorrow, maybe he'll have some answers.

Odd Symptom When I Have Burning Pain
A MyChronicPainTeam Member asked a question 💭

Due to nerve damage in my spinal cord I have peripheral neuropathy in both hands. Whenever I have burning pain it is usually on my palms. My palms will also turn bright red and I get a small blister in one spot as if I have been burned. Has anyone experienced anything like this with burning pain?

Try rubbing coconut oil into your hands. My granddaughter swears by it. The palms of her hands blister. Dr gave her all kinds of steroids and didn't work but she used the oil and cleared it up.
