Withdrawal From Oxycodone
A MyChronicPainTeam Member asked a question 💭

Does anyone have experience with withdrawal symptoms from a reduction in dosage of oxycodone - 15mg to 10 mg with 12 hour interval frequency? I have voluntarily requested this reduction because I feel I am becoming addicted and I am suffering in various ways over the last few days. Any suggestions or help out there please?

Inaccurate Urine Screen
A MyChronicPainTeam Member asked a question 💭

I’ve been on Oxycodones & Norco’s since 2006 . My doctor asks for a urine test and ends up dropping me cold turkey for a negative test on the Norco’s. How the hell does this happen after taking the same meds for all these years ? No second chance, no sit down to ask why . Just get out of office before we call police. Does anybody see something fishy with this doctors office??? Do I need an attorney? Or let it blow ? Withdrawals will kick in soon.

Comments From People That Have Weaned Off Of Narcotics By Your Choice.
A MyChronicPainTeam Member asked a question 💭

Lately it seems as though there are several people weaning off medications by their own personal choice. I'm not referring to those of you that are being forced to get off of meds. I'd be interested in hearing your results; comments. If you have been force to get off of narcotics and had good results, please share. Jean

A MyChronicPainTeam Member asked a question 💭

My legs feel weak and shaky. I normally can manage to walk my dog, in morning, but since starting Targin, I feel wiped out and low energy. It is helping pain a little, but I'm just wiped out all the time. When or if will I get my energy back?

A MyChronicPainTeam Member

Thanks for your reply. I was told that Naloxene is used to stop any constipation without affecting the pain relief. I find Targin is suiting me as pain relief is more constant. I found that Tramadol… read more

Dr. Is Lowering Fentanyl With No Replacement
A MyChronicPainTeam Member asked a question 💭

I have not been able to fill out all my details yet because it is difficult to sit down plus my right hand has been in a cast. I have severe osteo and fibro and have had accidents. The worst damage is from the physical, mental, sexual abuse I suffered for a long time. Anyway, I was put on Fentanyl 12.4.14, and have been on it ever since. I now have Medicare and I am not able to get a pain pump. I am on other drugs for pain as well. The pain management doctor lowered my Fentanyl and… read more
