I have been on Percocet for about 5 months I am finding it is doing nothing anymore. I have also been having a hard time breathing I have to tell myself to try and calm down and try and take deep breaths not sure if this is a side affect from it does anyone else have this problem? I am also on 4 other meds but didn't have this problem with anything of my others could this just be a mixture of everything all together?

@CrystalPearce you know that taking pain pills will make it hard for you to breathe because it relaxes all your muscles including the ones you use to breathe!! I have allergies and asthma and so I have to be careful about taking my Norco because it slows my breathing! Hugs!

Crystal, have you seen a Pulmonary Dr? I would definitely see one! Don't let these Dr.'s just send you home without any results! Be your own advocate and fight to be heard! I know sometimes it's hard but you need to remember that these Dr.'s work for you!

It really sucks when your in pain and you go to the doctor. I take OxyContin already and they add to it, I feel like they are guessing and I'm a test subject. Then all the changes you go through adjusting to new meds. Thank God I have a supportive husband because some days I can barely get out of bed. And every time they change or add to my meds I go through what I call a goofy period. I just do NOT feel anywhere near my self.
