I was diagnosed with gout earlier this year. I had been eating a lot of sweets at one point and learned from research that this contributes to gout. You can research it on line and find out a lot about it. My daughter bought a bottle of Tea Tree oil and I made an ointment with shea butter and tea tree oil, added a little lavender oil and peppermint oil ( I am a big fan of essential oils). I use this daily. And I found a list of foods that contribute to the possibility of gout, and I try to stay away from them. Just put "gout" into your search engine and it will bring up all sorts of things. But the number one thing I do is stay away from sugar.
Lemons!!!! The acid in lemons removes uric acid, I've done it, it works. Yes, they are sour but try two a day, you won't regret it.
Wish I had an answer for you, but I have no idea what works for gout. Good luck.
I can't help on this one. I have CPPD Disease which is psuedo gout. I don't have the crystals in my blood but I get the swelling and pain. No fun either real or psuedo. Hugs.
