Hello, I have crps on my left, several cva 's on my right. Today the doctor wants to give me en nerve block. Does anybody know how much pain that is? And does it help? I had two weeks of nerve blocks following a car accident. Prior to the nerve blocks I couldn't turn my head from side to side. Fortunately, the nerve blocks worked and they didn't hurt a but.

i had a lumbar nerve block last september (1st and only!). i woke up with the most excruciating lower back pain and it hasn't gone away. from what i've been able to find out, my reaction was unusual. for the actual procedure, i was thoroughly numbed (couldn't feel anything). between the numbing medication and the valium, i felt no pain...well, until i woke up. but again, from my research, my reaction was not the norm.

Ive had them when I had to have surgery on my knee to replace my acl mcl and tendons that were shredded. Ive had them 3 times. I have no issues with them except walking after its a little odd
