Definitely! It is all connected. When I stress out, things seem to tumble one after the other. I think my pain gets worse because of the nerve endings. Once the brain sends out a signal...the rest of me gets worse very quickly. At which point I remove myself from the situation or listen to music. I have learned patience and that we cannot control certain things physically and mentally. Find a mantra and repeat it until you de-stress.
I'm a former multi skilled health practitioner. Medically speaking, when other factors increase your pain, it is what is called the pain/stress cycle. Imagine a never ending circle..you start on the circle with pain which in turn causes stress...increased stress...Then increases increased pain....more pain then increase more stress..it is a never ending cycle like a ring. That is why it is so important to work to reduce our stress. My psychologist had me download an app on my cell phone called. CALM. A very nice app to help relax when you're having an episode.
weather triggers pain. when I do get really upset my pain does increase as well. if I do too much of a workout as well.
My pain seems to get worse with weather changes and if angry during the time My pain seems to take a step down but after a short period of time it really starts to hurt. Stress not certain I believe I have a certain amount daily Dr. Have stated that I have one of the most tense body they have come across. I try too relax but for some reason I don't seem to achieve it. Looking forward to 2017 and trying to have some lifestyle changes in a positive. Hope this finds you well MichaelWotipka
