Can You Do More Sharing Through Books
A MyChronicPainTeam Member asked a question πŸ’

What types of books to you like to read. Who are your two favorite authors. What is the best book you've read in the past year? Perhaps this sharing of books well help us to find great new books and authors. It would nice to have like minded readers be able to share and talk about books. We certainly could use some fun distractions in our lives. Jean

I also love true crime! My favorite author is John Douglas. He is a former FBI agent who was one of the founders of the Behavioral Analysis Unit (like in the TV show Criminal Minds).

@A MyChronicPainTeam Member Gosh what a wide open subject that is. I am a compulsive reader with no real set limits on what I read, except I am not interested in nonfiction. I have been reading the Outlander series since it came out in the 90s. Game of Thrones is a wonderful convuluted fantasy read with an exceptional cast for the tv version. I am currently reading or rereading Leon Uris's Mila 18. Then there are less known authors, some are fantasy, some mystery, and some romance. I read a lot of free books from different sites and they have led me to read entire series. As to favorite authors it would have to go by categories. In the romance department I would go with Nancy Naigle who writes great southern romances that have happy endings, then there is Kelsey Browning who (younger folks) will make your toes curl, very spicey, and of course Nora Roberts, and Nicholas Sparks. Mysteries would be J.D. Robb, Patterson, and lesser known but good and feel good, is Elizabeth A. Garcia. Fantasy has so many, George RRMartin, Anne McCaffery, and an excellant dystopian, apocalyptic writter who is not well known, Angela White who has an entire series and is an excellent read. If you use an ebook sign up for those sites that offer free books. Even if you can't afford the series you end up reading some pretty good stuff. I do have to put a disclaimer here and that is that Nancy Naigle, Kelsey Browning, and Elizabeth A Garcia are friends. If you check out Amazon they are on there and Barnes and Noble do carry those three. I don't want to list too many of my face book friends who write since that would violate the no selling clause for this site. During the times that I live in Fort Recliner I can go through five or six books in a week. Thanks to free book sites I have 1200 books listed in my Kindle and B&N apps. I also have 5 book cases full of books. I have read about a quarter of what is on my apps and everything in the book cases. Do you think I might have a reading addiction?

I don't know if I want to ask this question, but why hasn't anyone come to your house in 9 years. I'm going to sign off and color for a while before I go to bed. Hugs, good night and sleep well. jean

I love James Patterson, some of his books I think will start out slow but well worth reading every word, I have been reading books by Anne Frasier, so far her book Hush is the best but I haven't read them all.. I love Stephen King but man, his mind is demented sometimes, lol...I also read the book called I am Malala, its about the Iraqi girl who was shot in the face because of her beliefs in school, its a good book..Also, Robert Dugoni has some good books..
