I have extreme very extreme migraines daily. And yes seizures. It's called. Migrainal epilepsy. They r lots of fun. Everyone had diff kind of seizures some ppl shake, some hi numb, I blank out with eyes open just not home n couple other effects. Hubby told me after I pass out to the point that absolutely no way to wake me (scared the hell out of him) then I wake n talk to him n move around but have no idea I did them maybe 2-6hrs later I come back. This is ways happening now after couple of yrs after diagnosis want this bag at first no meds to help. I just space then nod out like I'm on heroin it's crazy have a friend n urself test. Have them sit with u n usually on ur flashlight app on fon there is a strobe light turn it on look at it and c if u shake out. It's the exact thing the Dr is going to do. My Dr many times then he strapped a camera to my head n laptop at end of bed to watch me for a weekend couldn't move except bathroom didn't have the darn seizure. Hubby had to come in and explain that it happens during migraines. But light test is the same. Don't ppl get them from TV flashing out loud noise-Google or wiki. But strobe urself n at least U'll know for sure.. Good luck lots of meds to control diff types.. Nuero will help not GP.

Migraine can cause all sorts of horrid things and yes I believe this is possible. When I was a teenager I use to start with going completely dead down one side of my body before a migraine attack. At the age of 15 I was referred to a Nuerologist who told me and and Mum that I had not had a stroke but a migraine. Also only two weeks ago my neighbour told me that her mother in law who is 90 and on blood thinning medication that they thought she had had a stroke ( but with the blood thinning medication this was not very likely) but after tests it was confirmed she had suffered a terrible migraine. Hope this helps. Take care. Sending hugs, Ann.

@A MyChronicPainTeam Member I have an appointment to see a Nuerologist in July and I go for an MRI in June. My mom and her sister both passed away with a brain aurorism so my family is really worried. Most of my family have had issues with blood cloths in one way or another but I wasn't sure if a migraine could cause a seizure. Thanks for all the info @A MyChronicPainTeam Member @A MyChronicPainTeam Member & @A MyChronicPainTeam Member

I use to shake uncontrollably with migraine in the past, and my body go dead down one side but through the menopause they seem to have eased a lot. I can understand this happening though. I hope your husband gets help for this very soon. It can be frightening. Sending hugs. x

My husband often has seizures that are triggered by migraines its one reason why we are fighting to get a section 8 approved to cover the cost of the 6 little pills that help prevent the migraines from triggering a clonic tonic seizure in the first place.
