Members shared mixed experiences with lidocaine and ketamine infusions for chronic pain, with several noting that while the treatments worked well initially, they often stopped being effective after the first or second round. Several members mentioned significant cost barriers, with ketamine infusion treatments ranging from $150 to over $4,000 per round, though some found Medicare coverage, while others explored alternatives like nasal ketamine, medical marijuana, Botox for migraines, or infusions like Simponi for RA. A recurring theme was the challenge of finding lasting relief, with members expressing hope that treatments might help others even when their own experiences were disappointing or inconsistent.

I have had both, lido for 4yrs, K for a yr. Lido stopped working moved to K. Pc will mix when that stops too. Are you saying you have the mix and not working? It doesn't work for everyone.

I have been wanting to do the ketamine infusion, for my chronic daily migraine headaches. It supposedly has a pretty good success rate, but costs approximately $4100 for a round of treatments. Then there are stem cell injections. Very expensive as well. I guess I need to win the lottery.
