It feels like a disk in my back it about too brake I'm tired of crying in pain no doc will answer me or treat my pain
I have Ankylosing Spondylitis (a type of arthritis) which makes my lower back hurt a lot. It may be worth looking into.
Have you had an MRI? I couldn't understand why I was hurting so much, then my Rheumatologist had me get an MRI, because my RA was mostly under control. We found that I have a co-morbidity called a foraminal stenosis with osteophyte formation. It's a fancy name to say my nerves are being pinched off in my spine. There's really no way to fix it as surgery has a 50/50 chance of coming out worse. On the plus side, it's made my doc much more willing to make sure I have pain relief, even in today's opiophobia.
Having the same problem don't know what to do
I have the same problem with my back which pain goes down to my legs. My pain doctor put a pain pump in me which have tube running to my back and hooked up to my lower spine. I go every month to have morphine put in my pump. It sure does help with the pain. Best thing I every had done.
So this is what is happening to me, my mid spine, is like a hockey puck is banging into it, but non stop, So are you saying it could be calcium build up? Also have you had a fusion. l4 5, s1, I feel I really let it go n for about 10 years, now, I am in so much pain, I can t take it, Im only afraid it wont take, even surgen said 20percent
