Inversion Table
A MyChronicPainTeam Member asked a question 💭

I’m wondering if anyone has tried the use of an inversion table for back pain. I’m looking into buying one.

It was a lot of fun.... to hang upside down but everything separates when you hang like that. My hips felt like they had come apart when Id try to off of it. It literally felt as though everything had to snap back into place when I got off. I used it for a couple of months and it didn't get any easier. I also have osteoporosis so maybe that's why it hurt me so much. I wouldn't advise anyone with chronic pain to use it. Not based on my experience. That's my opinion.

I tried a friends for 20 min and the pain was worse the rest of the day after I got off. She only put it at 15% too.

My new therapist has one and recommended me to have one. I have been on his and it may have helped.
