Lindanne. I have had mine done at Oswelstry its supposed to be the best Orthopaedic hospital in the North. But I have already gone through all this with the right leg until the surgeon said he cold not do anymore due to the amount of scar tissue that is in the leg. He then retired.
So I have started with a new consultant and he sent me for this pain block thing first as the last did. Unfotunately it doesn't seemd to of worked and it is quite depressing having to go through it all again!
I am also waiting for my spine to be done at Oswelstry I was sent there by the MICATS team. They tried to get me into one of my "local" hospitals at Wolverhampton (New Cross 10 miles each way Oselstry 60) but they refused me as I am already over to one side and have lost about 4 inches in height in 2 years so they wont touch me. Good Luck. Bev
