How do you do breathing techniques to help with pain when the very act of deep breathing makes the pain worse?
Edit: I think deep breathing is the wrong word. Mainly because even normal breathing is painful. I Know that in my Eleigh breathing through the pain helps but now I can't do that because it makes the pain increase
There is a whole art devoted to that called 'mindfulness.' It helps with a bunch of things. I have a book called "Full Catastrophe Living" which described it in detail.
No. More like it's putting pressure on something. It's only when I'm already in pain that breathing becomes a problem
So kind of like a stitch? Internal cramps? x
Sheet googling it, no. It only hurts to breathe when I'm already in pain, and the pain is in the area around my right ovary, and that's where the pain gets worse when I breathe
@A MyChronicPainTeam Member could you be experiencing costochronditis? This condition causes me severe pain when inhaling or exhaling. Just a thought x
