Are you afraid to leave the house because of accidents? What are some absolutely no no foods? Me, its dairy and deepfried foods. What foods can u eat that actually have flavor? Lol. Are u on any meds for it? May I ask what? I tried Viberzi, worked great, but at $1000 a month medicaid wont pay for it. So just dealing w it on my own. The weight issues r a bitch. Been 220,down to 118 when it was real bad. Now im stable at 140 but still having bouts of it out of nowhere. O it really kills ur sex… read more

Hi, I am new this site and also have Ulcerative Colitis. A very nasty chronic disease. I have tried many different types of medication and am currently doing Entyvio infusions along with weekly methotrexate injections for both my bad joint pain and to also help the Entyvio work for longer. When I am in a flare I go on the FODMAP diet. You can google it. It is very easy to follow and usually works for me. The biggest thing for Colitis is to make sure you are getting lots of protein so this diet helps. I never have deep fried foods, avoid sugar and also try to go gluten free if possible. All of these steps make my life liveable! Good luck to you and I hope you feel better soon!

I have this too. The one thing I have trouble with is Advil. I’m trying to not use opioids but the alternative is more painful. My GI gives me budesinid and that really helps

I know the accident feeling. Going out to eat is a rarity too.

I have Chrome's diesease my symptoms vary sometimes I swell up and I am nauseous and have diarrhea all day for at least 2- weeks Are more I get dehydrated but can't drink or eat and have to go to the emergency room cause the pain is so bad I get so scared to leave the house because I sometimes can't feel my bowels when they move and I have multiple accident's so I stay home and then sometimes I constipated with all the other symptoms above to go with it ( it's a no winner)
