Some doctors are just plain dumb. In the past, I watched an elderly woman with some dementia, suffering in severe pain from terminal cancer, and I watched a young docter express "concern" that if he gave her enough pain meds to actually relieve her severe pain, she might become "addicted". He was serious. How do you fix stupid?
