I'm sorry that cut back on your meds did the same thing to me now I've got more problems then I've ever had I resent this country for treating chronic ill patients the same as heroin addicts what's going to happen people are going to get tired of hurting we're going to see a rash of suicides and an increase in illegal drugs

I live in Idaho, but my doctor is in Washington. He's on my side, but had no choice other than cut me back on the fentanyl after 15 years. I've always been on the 50mcg patch, now I'm on the new 37.5mcg patch. The 1st week was horrible! I changed my patch today (3rd time for the 37.5mcg), the lower dose patches don't last for 72 hours like they're supposed to, also they don't stick on very well.
My doctor told me that Washington state lowered the MME to 120 and will again lower it to 90 ! He sent me to a spine center to see if a spinal cord stimulator would work for me. I read some info on it, I don't want to do That! I have to have a myelogram and EMG. ONCE again I have to jump through the hoops to prove I'm in chronic pain. Since being cut back I'm now feeling the pain in my lower back and knees. I'm almost 63 years old, have never abused my pain meds, so sick and tired of the FDA and CDC treating me like a drug abuser/drug seeker. My quality of life has gone steadily downhill with this taper.

I have thought that before Shield but it's not our time to go and I really think that we need to be strong together and get through this and God will take us when it's our time. After my son passed away last year I tried to slit my wrists for the first time ever in my life and the knife would not cut me so I know for a fact that my father and son were Theirs to stop me I scared myself so bad that I will never try to kill myself no matter how bad I can't stand the pain

They are cutting me down then to nothing! I never abused my medicine. I'm not supposed to have stress. There is nothing else I can take. I've been on norco for 10 years and now this??? I'm to that point, I just want to fall asleep and go home!
