The issue could be made much easier if our PCP Doctor's would Simply & Easily use THE CODE THAT PUTS IN THE SYSTEM AS A PALLIATIVE PATIENT.
DR. KLINE, A WELL KNOWN ADVOCATE, ALONG WITH RED LAWHERN who is another advocate fighting 4 us all.
If your PCP would apply this code

that would make untouchable as well as the Doctor, from the DEA & the CDC.
as well as themselves as well as Ins. Co.
Thenthe sky is the limit as 2 what med. Strength a patient needs 4 comfort with any chronic pain. 2 many PCP'S do not understand that this is not just 4 end of life patients.

IF YOU R NOT FAMILIAR W/ EITHER OF THESE MEN, recommend all 2 look in 2 this.
Dr. Kline, w/ Jonelle Elwey do a show every week on Y.T. It is an amazing show, very informative,"The Doctors Corner."
There U learn so much about the issues that effect all patients with our issues.
I hope this will help U find some answers U have.U can also call in during the show as well & they accept email questions.

Same here but I hear so many bad stories on these implants there was one man in my area who had a stimulator that malfunctioned it was over a weekend could not get ahold of the pain doctor who installed it he was in the emergency room and no surgeon would touch it the poor man was being electrocuted for about 3 days our country is so screwed up I'm sorry to say Trump has ruined this country not really his fault in a way he was never qualified to be a president as far as the opioid crisis what a reaction I'm put in the same category as a heroin addict as of right now I really don't care anymore I cannot live much longer like this I have no life there's really no one who is fighting for us we have just been tossed aside eventually suicides Will increase switching to illegal drugs has already increased they're making us look for alternatives I really cannot even afford having an implant done over a lifetime it's very expensive to someone's whose own disability or retired I hate to be so cold nature I'm not usually like this but I can just take so much it's been a 8 year battle and I am no better off then I was and getting older it's just getting harder I wish the best for everyone who is suffering

This was such an informative post. Thank you very much. I am now on Palliative Care. I have been a CPP for 20 years. I have had 2 broken spines, disintegrated vertebrae's, Acute Cauda Equine Syndrome for 3, years. Permanent Nerve Root/Scarring and irreparable damage to my spine. I am suffering because a new pain mgmt doc took over my previous, 18 year pain mgmt doc. It has been a downward spiral since he came on. This is the most unbelievable, political crisis for All. I know now that the CDC and P.Trump, wife and her coalition on This Crisis, realized that their reports were more than Shannon's, erroneous #s. They have been able to get the LA County ME, begin to really lust all the facts surrounding a so called, Opiate Overdose, into a report to make it really clear where the #s are. I will say this should change for the positive for those suffering by the end of the year. However, they will have pushed pain patients to their own death, by suicide, or push more to the street and forget the Doctor's as well as insurance and they will most likely go to heroin for pain control. The CDC and DEA and Trump, has really F$$@& alot if people's lives. We are collateral damage until they can come up with a replacement for opioids. This medication has been around for 150 years, in synthetic form. Good luck. They cannot restore all of us, who are damaged both physically, than mentally from severe Intractable Pain. I am so glad that I am now on Palliative Care and that my PCP and Neurologist as well as Surgeon has codes me for Intractable Pain. I am not being treated though as I should, because my Young Pain Mgmt Physician, is too scared and has lost all Faith in his ability as a physician. No one wins in this. This is life which takes you to the unknown!

It should not be this difficult to get adequate pain treatment. There is too much confusion, too many different sets of rules and regs. Many states are progressive, others still in the dark ages. We are patients, under medical supervision, with legitimate chronic conditions, injuries, degenerative or CNS issues.
Treatment is frustrating, stressful and imparitive to quality of life. Which all aggravates PAIN.
There must be pathways to defend our needs and differentiate addicts from ourselves. What do we do? Where do we start. I am extremely fortunate. Medical marijuana let me ask to stop the morphine. I'm told that my spinal cord injury will always cause pain and muscle spasms, my treatment includes Norco and valium. I'm still in pain, but allows me to get out of bed. There must be movements on our fronts.
Links anyone ? Sympathy and empathy for all those with pain. Prayers for help. Hope and healing.
Love and Peace
