Everyone with chronic pain lives in a very challenging world. We suffer constant pain, to relieve that we need strong drugs, because modern medicine does not understand it, and there is not enough profit in it for companies to spend the hundreds of millions studying it. The government finds it easier to attack us as just lazy drug addicts so they can justify ignoring us, and make noise about taxing all of us to death to make college free for everyone, give all free medicare etc. None of them will tell you how they propose to pay for these things. Those who do not suffer tell us we are weak snd just drug addicts with an excuse. If any of them understood what we tolerate even before we take the meds they would be shocked. I know that i will go as long as possible not to take the drugs, as i hate the side effects, but delaying makes it hard to catch up. I have found some herbal things that help me turmeric paste that i make and take every day, and when i have been out i feel the pain coming back again. It allowed me to stop all gabapentin and reduce my methadone and oxycodone. Must of us know we have to advocate for ourselves or suffer, we are all different and meds, herbs etc affect us each differently. We all need to try things to find what can help us, i know others that have found things to help themselves. Media, politicians are going to continue to attack us as the problem because we are not loud enough they put our meds in the same group as the illegal things coming across the border. I for one am left feeling that some of the politicians must be fett

Tumeric, Willemien is good, but must be mixed with black pepper to work.there are others out there that help, like garlic, onions, as these help the immune system,. Google herbs as medicine, you will get plenty, and nature stores have everthing you dont.they will be able to answer your questions and queries .

I agree 100% with @A MyChronicPainTeam Member. Its so wrong on so many levels that those of us in CP Community should have our lives turned inside out due to the actions of punks thugs and criminals. Everywhere we turn the accusing look comment of addict! I'll not deny it by definition opiates are addictive its foolish to deny it. I do separate myself from the criminals by vehemently declaring yes an addict a COMPLIANT addict. 20+ years this chosen pain management without incident. Never overdosed stole or hurt a fellow human. Have complied in all manners and have the well documented medical records to prove it. I have mercy on the Doctors this go around as they are being bullied intimidated and harassed to the same degree as you and I by government and insurance companies. We need public perception to be adjusted about the term addict. Addict isn't a 4 letter word. Yes I'm an addict. Compliant addict and that sure as hell beats the alternative!😛

Try ESCITALOPRAM (CIPRALEX) it transformed my life. It works by raising SEROTONIN levels in the brain.

@A MyChronicPainTeam Member sorry but i have to say God does not punisch people afterworths he is one big energy bowl full of forgiveness ad love and takes away guilt in this case.
