They Are Cancelling The Daiichi Sankyo Program.
A MyChronicPainTeam Member asked a question 💭

I just wanted everyone to know that they are cancelling the daiichi sankyo open care program. I got a call from my doctor's office yesterday, they received a letter from them in the mail, so it's official they are cancelling it on April 1st. In addition if there is anyone who knows of a program that has started to help with affording medications, or a possible alternative to welchol, or any of the meds on the program list, just post them here.

Hi Philip. Yeah long time no see. Hahaha. Happy to hear from you. So sorry about your kitty. I lost my dog last year and I know how hard it can be. Do you have other pets.?? I have 2cats. They don't replace the one you lost but it helps. It really is losing a family member. I love animals more than people. No animal ever mistreated or abused me like people have.
God bless you 😇❣️ much love and hugs to you. See you soon.

I know that the Health Dept in the U.S helps with meds but not pain meds.Anyone that has Chronic Pain if able, needs to file for Disability. For what it's worth. Of course you have to go to certain doctors. But we really have no choice. Good luck with your meds

Audra I believe the program that MikeEllison was referring to is Part D assistance thru your State, if you are on Medicare or Medicaid. If so, you should apply for the Part D assistance. Your state pays for most of what your insurance won't, for prescription meds. You will never pay more than $3.50 for a generic, and never more than $8.30, for a Trade Name med, if you qualify for the help. It saves people thousands of dollars per year. I hope this info was of some help to you. Also, there are some Drug Companies that will send you their med for free in the mail, if you are low income. For awhile I was receiving assistance from Purdue. They sent me my Oxy free in the mail every month, after submitting the proper paperwork. Keep us posted...good luck Audra.

@A MyChronicPainTeam Member, another thing about cats is that some are ordinary, while others have a very high inteligence, i have had the luck to still have one, that as far as i can see is like the one that passed. I thought that they were both until this morning when i asked her where the other cat was, just looked at me, but when i had asked the other one the same question she brought me to the room she was in without giving exact location. She knew exactly where she was but protected her place. This is what my other cat did,and she comes to me to show me stuff that she thinks is important. Hope these things can help, sorry about your other cat, talk soon i hope
