My doc stated that our bodies reset our pain tolerance. I think it's bs as an excuse to not ethically treat pain but if true than how long?
I have never heard of this by any doctor whatsoever. This is a new one for not answering what one needs.
After having 3 Neck Surgeries and Back too Severe Chronic Pain finally did the intrathecal implant trial I'm a Candidate for Permanent Getting the implant in September!! I felt like I was alive again during the trial.

Does anyone know if I can take Ibuprofen with cocodamol. My doctor has taken me off naproxen because I was feeling really nauseous all the time so I wondered if I could take Ibuprofen instead
to keep calm no matter how much it hurts , and stay away from stressful people if i can .

I've been suffering from chronic pain since 2019 after I was rear-ended. I have fibromyalgia that developed shortly after the accident. I saw in my medical records recently that my pain management doctor had also diagnosed me with Chronic Pain Syndrome. I didn't even know that was a thing.
