I would call the VA and demand an explanation. Some things are dangerous to stop cold turkey.

I guess it would depend on how often you take it. I only take mine every so often when I get desperate for a full night's sleep, but it turns me into patient zero of the zombie apocalypse, so I'm not a fan. I'll go months without taking it. But if you take it every day, talk to your pharmacist, because you may need to ease off first.

Made me feel drunk and couldn’t walk and definitely not able to drive. And didn’t help with my pain :(

Didn't bother me! was on it for a couple of years. last I heard they were not letting anyone stay on it too long
