I've been suffering from chronic pain since 2019 after I was rear-ended. I have fibromyalgia that developed shortly after the accident. I saw in my medical records recently that my pain management doctor had also diagnosed me with Chronic Pain Syndrome. I didn't even know that was a thing.

If you've been diagnosed with it what have your doctors done and what have you found helpful for your pain?

Hi, I have been on Lyrica for about 6 months and have put on about 12 kgs. The problem is it is mostly around my middle section and added to the chronic pain it is getting me down. Has anyone else experienced weight gain while on Lyrica and how do you combat it. Really need to be able to lose some of this weight as the extra kgs are making my back pain worse.

Hey everyone, just curious - has anyone here transitioned to a remote job or a job that's easier on your body due to your chronic pain? If so, what has your experience been like? Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated.

If so how has is affected your chronic pain?

I do not know if the medication is even still working for my pain. I just am wondering if there are other meds for my pain due to some possible new side effects. Or is it affects?

I have finally been diagnosed with CPPS to explain all my pain I go through on a daily basis. Would love to speak to people who live with this and how the cope and what treatment they use?

I am collecting information in an attempt to contact those that are making our laws about opioid addiction. I have already contacted some law makers. When the new proposals are announce, I want to be very ready to get active in trying to be sure that those of us in chronic pain are not ignored in the process. There doesn't seem to be a thing we can do about it,I've been cut down on the strength of my pain meds so much I'm never out of pain and have no quality of life,my only option is is to cut both my legs off just to get out of pain,it' crazy, I've never failed a drug test, I've always had my pill count and they still keep cutting me down., I see why the suicide rate for seniors is going up,what else are we supposed to do,they want us to die off anyway.
