It takes a long time to calm down pancreaitic inflammation. Did they tell you to avoid all fat, bland diet. You may need ongoing treatment until it calms down. Hospitals tend to treat and release. You may want to have your
Doctor on board for this. Take care, luv

I also have huge issues with the CDC'S guidelines for prescribing less than 90mg of morphine or equivalent. I'm lucky to be getting anything at all with the percocet. Today I will see my psychiatrist and I fear he will take me off the diazepam I've been on for over 30 years for anxiety and depression. Good luck to everyone who is hurting today. It's so sad that because of other's misuse we who genuinely need pain relief are the ones who suffer.

That is so true. Whenever I went to the ER I would be put on IV with pain meds. They worked for a few hrs but by the time I made it home, it was useless. Back to suffering.

Yes doc's aren't very compassionate anymore not since this blown up druggie abuse happened, now when we North Americans need pain help our docs say take 2 xtra strength Tylenol and 2 extra strength Advil at the same time , that's the world I find myself in now & it sucks but what can I do about it , when the streets are full of homeless druggies all blaming the doctors. What a nightmare Take Care My fellow pain Warriors.
