Had Spinal Fusion T8 To Pelvis 8 Years Ago. Still Have Chronic Pain.
A MyChronicPainTeam Member asked a question 💭

My pain doctor and I are still working on relief but I was wondering if there is a specific bed that anyone recommends that helps one sleep better. My sleep is awful and am wondering if a specific bed might help. I sleep on my left side. I read about it and. There were about six brands recommended but before that kind of investment, has anyone found that the bed makes a difference. I have a pretty firm bed and topper right now. Thanks if you have any info.

I have a nectar mattress which is pretty comfy.

If you lived near me I would take you, I can drive at least. Just can’t walk for crap! I don’t know your age but if a senior, might senior services be able to arrange for a ride for you?

Well, as you know I’ll try almost anything to relieve the constant pain. I’ll let you know if the ablation helps after I’ve given it a few weeks. Take care of yourself!

You’re so sweet, Lorraine. I have bought a Puffy bed and ordered a platform so my daughter and son-in-law will set it up when the platform arrives. I got the firmer one. The memory foam ones move too much with body position and for my back that’s not a good thing. I have 100 days to try it with a free return policy if I decide it’s not right. Just had radio frequency Ablation done T the SI joint this past Friday so spending the weekend with my butt on ice packs so we’ll see if that helps at all. Right now very sore and stiff but it takes a few weeks for the nerves to settle down so I’ll know soon whether or not it helps. Fingers crossed! Will let you all know how the bed works out.
