I do not know if the medication is even still working for my pain. I just am wondering if there are other meds for my pain due to some possible new side effects. Or is it affects?

For those who are married or in a committed relationship how does your spouse react to your chronic pain& handle it? For singles how does your chronic pain affect your dating life?

They have no idea if I have fibromyalgia or not. But they're just trying this to see. I'm just wondering, when am I supposed to feel better if this med is supposed to help? What's been anyone elses experience? It's basically cymbalta. I only see results for energy, appetite, mood, etc but not pain on a Google search. I'm looking into having gastric bypass surgery to help with weight loss in hopes of it helping the chronic pain I deal with daily. My biggest concern is that I might make another healthcare issue. A few of the meds I take cause weight gain so just dieting doesn't make the scale move much. I'm hoping with the sleeve and taking my stomach down to 1/3 of its size will help me get past the medication issue. So if anyone has had this done please share what kind of outcome you have had. My chronic pain is relatively new and it has disrupted my life a great deal. It’s ruined relationships and it’s taken great effect on my emotional and mental wellbeing. Hi, I have been on Lyrica for about 6 months and have put on about 12 kgs. The problem is it is mostly around my middle section and added to the chronic pain it is getting me down. Has anyone else experienced weight gain while on Lyrica and how do you combat it. Really need to be able to lose some of this weight as the extra kgs are making my back pain worse.

I have been living with CRPS for years. I am terrified as I know I have got to have something done as my teeth have been neglected and I'm having some major problems. My doc said she will work with a dentist to explain RSD-CRPS and how it may impact my condition. Now I have to find someone who will do the work and it may mean multiple extraction. Has anyone noticed a coalition vis a vie memory and meds. My memory has been getting progressively worse monthly. I AM 52 so it may just be I'm getting old but I was sharp as a knife when I was younger. Could the meds mess with memory
