See if you can get a referral to a Gyn specialist. Then ask that person for a Q tip test. It pinpoints areas of pelvic pain. Interstitial cystitis is misdiagnosed frequently, when it's actually caused by pelvic pain! I had my diagnosis at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. Or call your area Gyns and ask if they treat your specific problems.
I had tried Thermiva treatments. It does not work, and is a waste of $$ in my opinion. What I have had great success with are pudendal nerve blocks, Botox. Best wishrs! 😃😃
I have this problem alot.
My specialist told me it was Interstitial cystitis. I take elmiron 100mg 3 times a day. It's helps and have to follow a special diet.
