Coping/connecting Music Playlist.

I’m curious to know for all my family out there, what music do you listen to when coping or trying to connect with your higher power? If you don’t have a higher power, what do you use to connect with yourself at the deepest levels?

Members shared diverse and deeply personal ways they use music and sound to connect with themselves and their spiritual beliefs, with many finding comfort in binaural beats, specific frequencies like 963Hz or happiness frequencies, and nature sounds like ocean waves or thunderstorms. Several members described how different genres serve different emotional needs, from the storytelling of 1970s singer-songwriters and oldies to the depth of classical music and cello, with one member sharing that crying to music helps them feel more open and childlike. A recurring theme was the idea that there is no single right way to connect, whether through uplifting Christian rock, guided meditations, or even AC/DC when hope feels distant, with members encouraging each other to explore what resonates personally and brings peace.

Singer/songwriters of the '70s, I can lose myself in the music and the stories. Have you tried binaural beats? It's all over YouTube for free and it really helps with my studying, racing brain, and sleep. Depending on the frequency it reaches different parts of the brain "electronics". Think Pink Floyd laser light show without the pot, haha. Headphones REALLY help too, that way there is no outside interference.
Good luck

Hey @A MyChronicPainTeam Member. I love classical, Christian Rock and binaural beats. Love to meditate, which I should do more often. Depending on which Hz you use, definitely can connect to higher consciousness, same w meditation. The theory is that since we're all made of energy, we vibrate at a certain frequency 3-70 Hz (I think) anything higher can lift our vibes up. We want to have higher vibrations. Look up binaural beats if u want. Some folks believe in it, others not so much. Whatever works, right? I've been listening to Happiness Frequency: Seratonin, Dopamine and endorphin release Music on YouTube for over 6 months. It's Heavenly. See if u like it. This music helps me relax and go to sleep. Whether it's truly helping w Seratonin, I don't know. I do know I love it. You can try white noise. Rain or running water is nice to fall asleep to as well. Good luck finding what works for your spouse. 😊

Depends on my mood sometimes I find thunderstorms relaxing
I find listening to Cello deep & uplifting but when there is no hope of that happening it helps to throw on the AC⚡DC. So I think it all depends on your personal preference as well as your mood....

That's a good question, I try to listen to music and does not connect me with any spiritual guide that I need. I go to church and I don't find the spiritual guy there either I Believe in the Higher power of God but I Feel that my Pain and my concern has Nothing to do with them. It has a lot to do with this world. The world has given me this, not God. And I tried to connect. It's really hard when you don't know how to do it. How can we learn to connect thanks have a Blessing day.🙏🏽👩🏻‍🦼
