Hi! Has Anyone Been On Meloxicam Then Stopped It? If So, Did You Notice The Difference / Pain Came With A Vengeance?

I'm concerned about potential long-term effects on my stomach & considering stopping it soon. I'm mentally preparing ahead just in case. I don't want to add GI issues on top of everything else down the road. My tummy deserves ❤️ too!

@A MyChronicPainTeam Member Hi! Meloxicam really has helped my back & hips. My mom takes it for her RA & spinal issues as well & she says it helps. Hopefully it'll take the edge off for you too 💜. I didn't take it last night or tonight & don't feel much of a difference yet. My SI joint does hurt a little more tonight though. I have a full day of back to back massages tomorrow so I have a feeling it will be needed tomorrow night. I'm a master of sucking out all bad juju in others to help them & wonder sometimes if it sticks to me lol 😋.

Hi Lori5, I just started meloxicam today for arthritis in my neck.

@A MyChronicPainTeam Member Thank you! That does sound frustrating. I've been on it several months & don't want to risk my stomach getting to that point. The health of our GI system is so crucial. I'm going to go to prn instead of nightly. It's prescribed that way but have taken every night since my pain is worse by bedtime so🤞🏻. 🙈

I took it for a few months, but my stomach was acting up. Doctor took me off of it. Took Gabapentin but felt dizzy a lot, so I stopped taking that as well. It's frustrating. ☮️🎶❤️ Darlene
