Where do you live? You can try a pain management doc. A regular doc won’t prescribe any narcotic.
Just be prepared to jump through all their hoops. Be your own advocate and research everything you can. What’s good for one isn’t necessarily good for another.

That is an excellent question and if you are successful please post how you went about finding one.

I went to Advanced Pain Management in Greenfield Wisconsin in 2013 or 14?. I was very disappointed in the doctor I met with here's exactly what he said:

"I see 3,000 chronic pain sufferers a year and I know exactly what you're going through. I will try to help you with the pain if I can but I don't think so and it's going to get worse as you get older. This is from a lifetime of Hardcore smoking and drinking what have you done to yourself?"

Not trying to be negative - I hope you have better luck and I would like to hear about it if you do.

I just wanted to give you a little bit of insight in case you meet up with someone like that. He was very expensive and billed my insurance $20,000 for two Branch medial block injections. The insurance company whittled it down to $14,000 and I had to pay $4,000 , the branch medial block injection, the first one did give me excellent relief for about 36 hours and then it wore off - and the second one didn't really do anything at all . The guy really was jaded and to tell the truth he didn't look very healthy himself.
