@A MyChronicPainTeam Member, I read a lot of good advices according to Med Diet. It's so easy : consume more:

fruits
vegetables
whole grains
legumes
nuts and seeds
heart-healthy fats

consume less:

processed foods
added sugars
refined grains

limit alcohol consumption

I love oily fish ie:herring, mackerel, fresh sardines, I love herring roe fried in light olive oil there is one part of the Mediterranean diet I don't like and that's crusty bread dipped in olive oil and eaten as a snack, I HATE OLIVES, when I do a family barbecue I love to put some olive oil on a piece of foil, lay some fresh filleted mackerel on it, lemon slices, sliced tomatoes, sliced aubergine, lemongrass, fresh herbs, splash of white wine, asparagus spears, wrap it in the foil and bung it on the barbecue to cook. U can use any fish u like but oily fish is meditteranean. It's quick n easy to make light extra virgin olive oil based salad dressings with oil, lemon juice, finely chopped fresh herbs, mayonnaise is very easy to make, I make home made mayo with grated lemon zest, fresh lemon juice and peeled and grated garlic added and mixed in, freshly ground sea salt and freshly ground peppercorns. I LOVE HALLOUMI TOO! Capers, roasted or barbecued peppers LUSH !

Hi Lorraine. I have been following Weight Watchers for 10 weeks now and have lost 28lbs.. I feel I am eating plenty. Mostly, chicken, fish, veggies & fruit. I can't really exercise, but do some from a chair with light weights. I can only walk short distances, so walking is out. I wish you luck on eating healthier. Sending love & hugs to you my friend. ❤️☮️ Darlene
